I saw this pic on a phantom fan site and had to draw it. It depicts the scene where Christine returns Erik's ring...so sad!

I drew this first, colored it, then scanned it and shaded/blended the colors more.

Erik's hand turned out a little messed up, as did Christine's eye and hair...I just couldn't get the curls to look right at the top of her head.

Overall though I'm very pleased with this piece, I love how Erik is sort of becoming one with the darkness...hehe.

Anyways comments and especially constructive criticism would be most appreciated.

Aww this picture is great (this part always makes me cry lol) I love the way you make Erik fade into the darkness, as though returning the ring sends him back into the shadows. I can't wait to see some more of your work!

Hehe, thanks for the comment. Hopefully I'll be able to finish some more pieces and upload them...but it's summer vacation now, so I don't think that will be a problem. =D

Actually, it was the ring Raul gave to Christine for their engagement. The Phantom took it after the Masquerade song and was going to use it to "marry" Christine himself. She gave it back to him when he let her go to remember her by..... *realizes she's talked too much and runs off* Nice pic, BTW!
